James Edward Kirby

James Edward Kirby born July 30, 1937 Age 87 , passed away peacefully on June 4, 2025.

James Edward Kirby was a proud Navy veteran. After his military service, he dedicated many years to a career at Alcoa Aluminum Company, James enjoyed fishing and golfing.

James was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 63 years, Elizabeth Kirby; Son Kelly Kirby; father & Mother, Alferd & Lilian Kirby; brother, Rodger Dale Kirby; and nephew, Chad Kirby.

He is survived by his son, Tracy Kirby (Joan Kirby); daughter, Shannon Kirby; and grandchildren Kasey & Kaleigh Kirby, Cody & Megan Lane, Micah Jones, Dalton Patterson, Candace Dial, and Tanner Miller, many great-grandchildren, brothers & sisters, and nieces & nephews.

A service to honor James’s life and service will be held at Smith's Funeral Home Sunday June 21, 2025 at 11 o'clock a.m.
