James Louis Heintz Jr.

James Louis Heintz Jr., 77, passed away on Monday, July 21, 2025. He was married for over thirty-six years and worked at the Kroger Company for over forty-one years. James was also a member of the United Food Workers Union #1995. He is preceded in death by his parents James and Brownie Heintz. He is survived by his wife; Glenda Heintz, sons; James (Gina) Heintz, Jared (Jade) Heintz, Gary Gunnel, daughter'; Tina Carter,  sister; Judith Pilkinton (William), Edith Akin, also a proud grandfather of 16 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren. Family and friends will assemble at Smithview Pavilion from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Monday, August the 11th. An inurnment will take place on Monday, August the 11th, at 10:00 AM at the East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery, Knoxville, Tn. In lieu of flowers please make all donations to Gentiva Hospice.
