Jackie Lee (Jack) Sellers, age 84, passed away July 30, 2025 in Knoxville, Tennessee. Jack was born October 18, 1940. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Lee and Geneva Amburn Sellers and sister, Gracie Sellers Harpe. He is survived by his brother, Jerry Sellers of Maryville, longtime companion, Brenda Richardson of Maryville, nieces; Dawn Matthews and Danielle Frasier, nephew; Michael Harpe, and many other friends. Jack attended Lanier School. He began his career working for Gateway Furniture and later went to work at Tennessee Dept of Transportation. He then began his employment with the City of Alcoa where he retired after 30 years. He was a long time NASCAR fan and attended races whenever possible. He was also a Tennessee Vol fan of football and basketball. Jack was a quiet, simple man who enjoyed the simple things in life. He enjoyed working in the garden, mowing the grass, and sitting on the front porch swing with his little dog, Sadie and he just enjoyed life. He had a lot of friends and everyone knew Jack Sellers as a good, hard-working, and honest man. Family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, August 7th, 2025 at Smith Trinity Chapel. Family and friends will assemble for a graveside service and interment at 11:00 am on Friday, August 8th, 2025 at Maple Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
