Jack Woody Niles was born April 13, 1933, to John and Bertha Niles of Vonore, TN and departed this life on February 8, 2026 at age 92. In between he grew up working on the family farm, hunted, raised bird dogs, fished, played high school sports, worked and raised a family. He married his high school sweetheart, Ann Niles in February 1955 and they soon moved to Maryville, TN where they started their family. Jack was an active member of Pecks Memorial United Methodist Church for almost 70 years until his health prevented attendance. Honest, hard-working, dependable and loyal describe the character and substance of the good man Jack was. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Charles Edward Niles, sisters Analee Steele and Vanda Young, several brother and sister in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews. He leaves behind to celebrate his life and cherish their memories his wife of almost 71 years Ann Keyees Niles; daughter and son-in-law Sharon and Darryl Monday; granddaughter and husband Shana and Westin Greene; and great-grandsons Jackson, Parker and Raylan. Sister Linda Summitt, sister-in-law Betty Dodd, several cousins, nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the care givers who provided compassionate and dignified care for Jack during the last months of his life at Morningview Memory Care, Starr Regional Senior Care, Life Care of Athens and Gentiva Hospice. Family will receive friends from 3:00 to 4:00 pm, Monday, February 16, 2026 at Smith Trinity Chapel. Funeral service will be at 4:00 pm with Pastor Bob Ruth and Pastor Brian Inman officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Jack's memory to Pecks Memorial United Methodist Church, 2438 Wilkinson Pike Maryville, TN 378033or a charity of your choice.
