Jack Sleepy Large

Jack "Sleepy" Large, age 75, of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at his family home. He was a member of Broadway Baptist Church. He retired from the State of Tennessee's Department of Revenue. Preceded in death by: parents, Frank and Ollie Large; brother, Bill Large. Survivors include: wife of 56 years, Mary Helen Large; daughters and sons-in-law, Jackie and Terry Drake of Smyrna, TN, Jane and Russ Connatser of Maryville, TN, Pat and Keith Hewgley of Cleveland, TN, and Paula and Mark Jones of Maryville, TN; 10 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, Don and Regena Large and Hugh Mack and Jo Edith Large; sisters and brothers-in-law, Virginia and Lowell Crabtree and Mary Jo and Gary Millsaps all of Maryville, TN; several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be at 7:00 p.m. Friday, November 23, 2007 in Smith's West Chapel with Dr. Robert Brown officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 24, 2007 at Clarks Grove Cemetery for the interment. Memorial donations may be made to Broadway Baptist Church, Youth Mission Trip Fund, 2329 E. Broadway Avenue, Maryville, TN 37804.
