Iver Halton Moredock

Iver Halton Moredock, age 96 of Powell, TN. passed away May 12, 2022. Iver was born and raised in Clay County, Tennessee and served in the U.S. Navy during WWII on the USS Core carrier ship. He graduated from Tennessee Tech University in 1951 with a bachelors degree in education and retired from Tennessee Farm Bureau as Vice President of Underwriting in Columbia, TN. Iver was a member of Broadway Methodist Church in Maryville, TN. Preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Eunice (Daniel) Moredock of Clay County, TN. and brother, Harold Richmond Moredock of Nashville, TN. Survived by his wife of 74 years, Ina (Ramsey) Moredock; daughter, Brenda Strevel of Louisville, TN; son, Patrick (Linda) Moredock of Boring, OR; daughter, Ella Grace (Terry) Cline of Knoxville, TN; granddaughters, Casey (Scott) Tester, Erin Moredock, Sarah (Devin) Hylton, and Maddy Cline; 4 great-grandchildren.
