Iva Lou Helton Frazier passed away peacefully on September 19, 2023. She was born July 22, 1933, in the Walden's Creek Community in Sevier County. She was predeceased by her husband of 62 years Benton Wayne Frazier, parents, Wilson and Blanche Helton, in laws, Reford and Lillie Frazier, infant brother, J.D. Helton, sister-in-law, Aileen Frazier. She is survived by her son, Darrell Wayne Frazier; daughters, Lisa Frazier (Bob Currie), Donna Rood (Joe); grandchildren, Leah Paine, Wilson Paine (Rosa), Mattie Johnson (Matt), Peyton Brink (Alex), and Lexi Frazier; great-grandchildren, Audrie, Charlie, and Addison Schuster, Kason and Micah Paine, Oliver and Quinn Johnson, Lyla Brink; brother and sister-in-law, Gene and Jeanie Helton; nieces, Cindy Cross (Bob), Melissa Hannah. Iva Lou was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, and friend. She was also an active member for many years at Everett Hills Baptist Church. She served in many roles there and was extremely admired for her work with the Girls in Action Program, the Missions Programs, and for her many volunteer hours at the Chilhowee Baptist Center. The family would like to thank the staff at Asbury Place and Asbury Health Center for their care of Iva over the past few years.  In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Frazier requested donations be made to Chilhowee Baptist Center, 1905 E. Broadway Avenue, Maryville, TN 37804 or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or www.stjude.org. Family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM Thursday, September 28, 2023 at Smith Trinity Chapel. The Funeral Service will be at 2:00 PM with Rev. Greg Long officiating.
