Hilda Jo Hipps

Hilda Jo Crowder Hipps, 81 of Maryville, passed from this life to her heavenly home on Thursday, June 22, 2017. She was a resident at Asbury Place. She was preceded in death by her husband, Odus C. Hipps; parents, Ollie and Ada Crowder; brother, Raymond Crowder; sisters, Hazel Imogene Miller, Geneva Marrow and Grace Belcher. She is survived by her children, Gary Hipps, Lesa Pass, Paul Hipps; grandchildren, Crystal Welch (Jacob Slingluff) and Jeffery Pass, II (Katy Pass); great-granddaughters, Macie Welch and Khloe Pass; brother, Kenneth Crowder and many special nieces and nephews. She was a lover of Jesus, music and animals. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in Smith’s Trinity Chapel with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM. Interment will take place on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at 11:30 AM at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, Lyons View Pike.
