Henry Melvin Heath

October 2, 1944 — June 5, 2025

Henry Melvin Heath, age 80, passed away peacefully at his home June 5, 2025. He was a Master Sergeant and tank commander in the US Army. He was stationed in Germany and retired after twenty years of faithful service. He was a 32° Mason (Germany). He is survived by his son, Jeffery T. Heath, U.S. Air Force; daughter, Cheryl Ann Sanders (Jim); special cousin, Billy Jean Bayless (George); and sister, Joyce Herbold (Ed). Henry loved the Lord dearly and was of Baptist faith. He was generous to a fault, he loved his family fiercely, hardworking, fun loving, loyal to friends, an animal lover, and very adventurous. After service, he worked for the postal service for over a decade. He leaves behind his loving wife Cecelia P. Heath. The burial will be at the East Tennessee Veteran’s Cemetery on July 9th at 2PM. A celebration of life will be held in July at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church with Scott Lingenfelter officiating.
