Henrietta McKelvey Curtis

Henrietta McKelvey Curtis age 95, of Friendsville, went to be with Jesus on Wednesday, October 28, 2010 at Colonial Hills Nursing Center. She was a loving mother, grandmother and devoted Christian, and loving friend to everyone she knew. She was a member of First Church of the Nazarene of Maryville. Preceded in death by: Husband of 70 years, Clarence R. Curtis; Infant Son and Daughter, John & Doris Curtis; and Granddaughter, Suzie Moler. Survivors include: Son & Daughter-in-law, Charles & Linda Curtis of Greenback; Daughters & Sons-in-law, Marianna Smith & the late Frank Smith of Friendsville, Clara & George Rogers of Maryville, Lois & Rick Chase of Middletown, RI, Ida & Dave Moler of Rockford; 13 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandson; Brother-in-law, George Jack of Knoxville; several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 12:30 PM, Saturday, October 30, 2010 at Smith Trinity Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 12:30 PM with Rev. Raymond Couey and Rev. William (Skip) White officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 3:30 PM, Saturday, October 30, 2010 at Cloyd’s Creek Cemetery in the Meadow Community for the interment.
