Goldia Marie Brackett

Goldia Brackett, age 97 of Maryville, passed away Friday, August 18, 2023 at home. She was born in Alcoa, TN, a life-long resident of Blount County, and a long-time member of The United Church of God. She had been married 42 years when her husband died in 1984. She had 7 children; 14 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild; and many others who also claimed her as “Granny”. Goldia is preceded in death by her husband, Carr Brackett; son, Ronald Brackett. Survived by her sons, Carson Brackett, Pat Brackett (Andrea), Mike Brackett (Ann); daughters, Sandy McCollum (Eddie), Debbie Keeble (David), Susie Sullivan (Jim). Family will receive friends from 10:30 AM until 12:30 PM Thursday, August 24, 2023 at Smith Trinity Chapel. The Funeral Service will be at 12:30 PM with Mr. Jay Ledbetter officiating.
