Gladys Marie Ward

Gladys “Marie” Ward, age 87 of Rockford, passed away peacefully at her home on March 24th. She was a nurse for 25 years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandbabies. She was a member of Old Ballards Chapel Baptist Church. Preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Helton; daughter, Debbie Johnson; granddaughter, Amanda Johnson. Survived by children, Richard Cagle, Randy Ward, Byron and (wife) Donna Ward, and Gail Heaton; grandchildren, Ashley and (husband) John Steger, D.J. and (wife) Kim Ward, Brandon Ward, Tammy McDaniels, and Kathy Stallings; great-grandchildren, Rusty and Kaitlyn Steger, Easton Ward, Michelle Bailey, Avery Stallings; several great-great-grandchildren.
