Ginger Waters

Ginger Waters of Maryville Tennessee passed from this life on January 27, 2023. She was 80 years old. Ginger was born to Bill and Gan Bee on June 6, 1942 in Grafton, West Virginia and raised in Zanesville, Ohio. She moved to Blount County at the age of 12 and remained here for the rest of her life.  She was a proud graduate of Everett High School, and continued to meet with her classmates until only a few months ago. She met Edward Waters, the great love of her life, in 1961. Ginger and Ed married on October 26, 1963. They stood by one another for 59 years and built a worthy life together. Ginger was the loving mother of two sons, Ron Waters and Eric Waters, devoted mother-in-law to Cindy Waters and Shane Waters, and treasured grandmother to Megan Parks, Chelsea and Alex Price, Amanda Waters and James Petelle, and Erica Waters. She was also great-grandmother to Jullian, Amiyah, Kaden, Camren, Parker, and Aubree. She adored her friends, loved to garden, and was an active member of First United Methodist Church of Maryville. She was a light in all of our lives, and we will miss her dearly, until we meet again. Family and friends will assemble for a graveside service on Thursday, February 2^nd at 11:00 AM at Grandview Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held Thursday, February 2^nd at 7:00 PM, with receiving friends to follow at First United Methodist Church of Maryville, 804 Montvale Station Rd, Maryville, TN 37803.
