Gerrae Messer

Geraldine (Gerrae) Messer age 78 of Maryville passed away, Sunday, December 17, 2023 at her home.  Gerrae was a member of Wildwood Baptist Church and Maryville Alcoa Business Women’s Association.  She was very involved in the Democratic Party.  Gerrae retired from Blount Memorial Hospital after 49 years of service. She was all about God, family, and community.   Preceded in death by:  husband, Timothy Wayne Messer; brother, Fred Clay Moore; sister, Bobbie Amburn.  Survivors include:  son and daughters-in-law, Billy Charles Riddle Jr. & wife Rebecca, Russell Eric Riddle, and Bryan Keith Riddle & wife Mindee; 8 grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren.
