Geraldine Gibson, age 81, of Maryville, TN, passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2026.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Joe Gibson; her father, Hoyt Goble; her mother, Johnnie Goble; her brothers, Sammy Goble, R.C. Goble, and Gilbert Goble; and her sister, Annett Loring.

She leaves behind her loving family, including her sons, Donnie Gibson, J.H (Kim) Gibson, and James (Becky) Gibson; and her daughter, Teressa Simerly; grandchildren, Roger Gibson, Brad Gibson, Brett Gibson, Tyler Gibson, Jacob Gibson, and Lucas Gibson; Meg Hodgin; Marissa Wall; and Jared Simerly; great-grandchildren, Braden and Mason Gibson, Declan and Amelia Gibson, Rilen, Oliver Hodgin; sister, Claudette Higginbotham.

In addition to her family, she leaves behind special friends Margaret Cargile, Margaret Gibson, and many other neighbors who held a special place in her life.
