George H. Centebar

George H. Centebar, age 83, passed away September 17, 2008 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was born in Barre, Vermont on September 14, 1925. He was a 1949 graduate of Norwhich University. He served during World War II in the U.S. Navy and retired from ALCOA, Inc. after 30 years of service. He was a member of their 25-Year Club. Preceded in death by: Parents, George and Albertine Centebar; wife of 43 years, Hayes Centebar. Survivors include: Daughter, Michele Joset Centebar of Houston, TX; two grand-daughters, Whitney and Sarah; five great-grandchildren; three step-daughters, Nikki Andrew, Kerry Shibley, and Kirk Andrews; ten step-grandchildren; and many step-great-grandchildren; and special friend, Marcelle Lillard.
