Gary (Donnie) Waldo Sr. age 72 of Etowah, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2019 at home. He was a member of the United States Marine Corps. Preceded in death by: Wife, Betty Waldo; Mother, Juanita Waldo; Sister, Geraldine Solomon; Grandparents, Raymon & Mae Mitchell and Clara & Austin Waldo. Survivors include: Son, Gary Waldo, Jr.; Daughters, Cynthia Thevenote and Sherry Wise; Grandchildren, Caitlin Daigle, Tori Sanders, Jalen Waldo, Mistty Waldo, Clayton Waldo, Elizabeth Thevenote, Lauren Thevenote, Tony Waldo, and Charles Waldo; Great-Grandchildren, Silvia Waldo and Presley Sanders; Brothers, Larry Waldo and Arthur Waldo; Sisters, Joyce Chapman and Victoria Mallett. Family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:30 PM, Friday, June 7, 2019 at Smith Chapel. Funeral service will be at 2:30 PM with Rev. Bill Alley officiating.
