Gary Dale Roberson

Gary Dale Roberson, age 68, of Friendsville, Tennessee passed away on February 21, 2022.He left behind a love of family, friends and the outdoors. Gary was not the type of person who liked large crowds, but he was happy when family and friends were around for fish fries and holidays. Before Gary was disabled with constant pain, he could be found during every free moment on the lake trying to catch the biggest fish or in the woods hunting whatever was in season. Gary was the one family member that could be depended on to get everyone laughing and smiling with jokes and pranks on family and friends. Gary was preceded in death by his mother and father, H.M. Roberson and Mayme Roberson Purkey. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Roberson. Gary leaves behind his wife and care giver of 40 years Veronica Gail Roberson, daughter and son-in-law Carrie Ann and Mike McLemore; the joy of his life, granddaughters Leann and Amber McLemore. He is also survived by brother and sister-in-law Ted and Linda Roberson of Sparta, Tennessee along with special nephew Jim Lawson of Knoxville.
