Gary Lee Renter, 81, passed away peacefully on July 18, 2026.

Born on July 27, 1944, in West Point, Nebraska, Gary was an electrician who retired after 25 years with Denver Public Schools. Throughout his career, he earned the respect of coworkers and friends through his skill, reliability, and willingness to help others.

Gary was preceded in death by his beloved wife and high school sweetheart, Rebecca Lynne Rogge, on April 6, 2010. Together they shared 45 years of marriage, building a life centered on love and family.

Gary enjoyed working on cars and looked forward to going out for breakfast with family and friends. With his dry wit and quiet demeanor, Gary had a knack for making others smile. He was a hardworking, dependable man who showed his love through his actions.

He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Kaye Callaway, and her husband, John Callaway; his granddaughters, Caitlin Mackenzie Callaway and Cassidy Lynne Callaway and her fiancé, Michael Bolskar; his brother-in-law, Terry Rogge, and his wife, Vickie, of Omaha, Nebraska; his brother-in-law, Ron Lamson, of Norfolk, Nebraska; and several nieces and nephews.
