Fronie Mae Laxton, age 101 of Maryville, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2023 at Asbury Chestnut Building. Fronie was a member of East Maryville Baptist Church. Preceded in death by husband, Tilmon Laxton; daughter, Wanda Phillips Long; mother, Ossie Daugherty; several brothers and sisters. Survived by daughter, Una Jean Teffeteller; grandchildren, Shane Phillips, Chris Teffeteller; great-grandsons, Jackson Phillips, Reese Phillips; special thanks to friends, Selda and Myra Kerley, Ben H. Long and Charlie Teffeteller. Special thanks to her neighbors, the Chaney’s for taking great care of her. Family and friends will assemble at 1:00 PM for Graveside Service and Interment Friday, April 28, 2023 at Grandview Pavilion.
