Frank Detolson English III

It is with sadness we share the passing of Frank Detolson English III at his home in Maryville, Tennessee on Sunday, January 11th at age 71. Frank was born March 14, 1954 in Tampa, Florida.

Frank is preceded in death by his parents, Frank Detolson English Jr. of Queen Anne’s, MD and Helen Whisnant of Burke County, NC. He’s survived by his wife of 37 years, Eunsun English of Maryville, TN; his daughters, Christie English Randolph of Knoxville, TN and Stacy English of Richmond, VA; his son, John English of Richmond, VA; as well as 2 children-in-law.

Frank was a mechanical engineer by trade. He met his wife through military service in South Korea, raising their children together across North Carolina & Tennessee. He loved to travel and was particularly fond of family trips to the beach or mountains. In his spare time, you could find him taking a stroll around the neighborhood or curled up on the couch with his best canine friend, Doodle. His joys in life included surfing, car restoration, fishing & hunting, and spending quality time with his family. Frank’s memory lives on in his legacy as a loving father, doting husband, devoted provider, & an all-around silly guy. He is deeply missed.
