Thornton, Frances West age 67 of Maryville passed away Thursday, August 24, 2006 at Blount Memorial Hospital. Preceded in death by: Parents, Henry & Mayme West; Sister, Elizabeth West Davis. Survivors include: Husband, Shawn Thornton; Son and Daughter-in-law, Anthony & Lori McCollum of Chatsworth, GA; Daughter and Son-in-law, Teresa & Jim Garrison of Chatsworth, GA; Daughter, Laura McCollum of Maryville; Four Grandchildren; Two Great-Grandchildren; Brothers, Henry West of Charlotte, NC, John M. West Sr. and David West both of Maryville; Sister, Carol West of Maryville; several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will assemble for graveside service and interment at 2:00 PM, Sunday, August 27, 2006 at Grandview Cemetery.
