Faythe Shore

Faythe Cantrell Shore was born October 20, 1936, and lived a wonderful life until June 17, 2025. She is preceded in death by her parents Alymer Jennings Cantrell and Lura Lena Cantrell. She is survived by three sons: Alex Bolling Shore, Daniel Riddick Shore, Samuel Murphey Shore and two sisters Mrs. Munns and Mrs. Woodring, plus eight grandchildren: Sarah Katherine Shore, Davis Martin Shore, Jeremy Robert Shore, Mary Elizabeth Shore, Nathaniel Britton Shore, Connor Daniel Shore, Annaliese Faythe Shore and Julia Grace Shore. Faythe worked in Memphis, TN as an Executive Secretary for two major life insurance companies until her marriage of 62 years to her husband, Lawrence Bolling Shore, who passed on April 13, 2023. Faythe worked many years in the local schools’ Parent Teacher Association, holding every office plus working in the community. She is a member of the Church of God since 1969 and loves The Father, The Son, the truth and the brethren. Family will receive friends from 11 AM to noon on June 23, 2025, with a funeral service to follow at noon in the Smith West Chapel with pastor Kenneth Swiger officiating. Family will assemble for a private interment at the Grandview Cemetery.
