Esther Burns

Esther Burns, age 95 of Maryville, TN passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2024.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Ell Ray Burns; parents, Levi and Vesta Dodd; grandson, Joshua Hilzinger; several sisters and one brother.  Survivors include her son, Earl Burns (Janice); daughter, Kathy Hilzinger (Bob); grandchildren, Kelvin Burns (Teresa), Shannon Burns (Kenny Bevers), Nathaniel Hilzinger (Jacqueline), Krista Lewis (David); great-grandchildren, Justin Burns, Logan Burns, Kathryn, Davy, and Lorien Lewis, Corbin Hilzinger; sisters, Evelyn Lawson (M.T.), Nancy Wilburn; special niece, Dottie Kidd; several other nieces and nephews.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Smith's West Chapel on Saturday, April 20, 2024.  A funeral service will follow the visitation at 12:00 PM officiated by Rev. Richard Brown and Rev.
