Eric Lon Perrin

Eric Lon Perrin, age 71 of Maryville, passed away July 5, 2024. He was born August 10, 1952 in Memphis, TN and resided most of his life in Maryville. He graduated from Doyle High School and Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy. Eric retired from Blount County Sheriff’s Department as a Patrol Sergeant. He founded the Blount County Santa Cop Program in 1991. Preceded in death by: mother, Betsy Betts, Ralph Perrin. Survivors include: daughter, Erica Orange (Sherard); sons, Eric Lon Perrin II (Sabrina) and Jay Ivy Perrin (Ashley); grandchildren, Skyler Kennedy, Brooke Perrin, Evan & Sidney Orange; four great-grandchildren; father, J.W. Foster; brother, Jess Perrin; sisters, Lori Callaway (Don), Amy Puckett, Sodonia Barnes; special cousin, David Betts.
