Emma Grace Stephens, age 84 of Knoxville, passed away Friday, August 28, 2026 at her home. She was a Seamstress and Tailor who enjoyed reading murder mysteries. Preceded in death by: mother, Hazel Ogle; father, James Mathes; husband, Ray Stephens; brothers, JD Mathes, George Mathes, Mayford Mathes; sisters, Vivian Blair and Donna Mathes. Survivors include: son & daughter-in-law, Tony & Robin Stephens; daughters & sons-in-law, Cathy & Wayne Warner, Stephanie & Wayne Baker, Laura Shockley, and Sandy & Steve Koons; grandchildren, David Warner, Kati Jones, Holly Holloway, Kelsey Shockley, Anna Shockley, Ainsley Shockley, Matt Beason, Melanie Massengill, and Kari Brown; great-grandchildren, Aamariah Williams, Caiden Warner, Trey Griffin, Hunter Massengill, Claire Beason, Hayes Beason, and Kenna Brown; sister, Fleeta Mathes.
