Edward
Harrison
November 26, 1962 – March 28, 2026
Edward (Ed) Landon Harrison, 63, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2026, surrounded by family. Ed was a devoted husband, father and grandfather who built a life marked by quiet strength, resilience and a deep love for his family.
Ed was born on November 26, 1962, in Lincoln Park, Michigan and remained in the area until his retirement (2018) at which point he relocated to Greenback, Tennessee. He worked in the HVAC industry for the majority of his career, including many years with his father as part of their family owned business, Harrison Refrigeration.
He was incredibly smart, funny and a hard worker. He had a knack for anything he could work on with his hands and loved to help others when given the opportunity. He loved early mornings, strong coffee, Dale Earnhardt, Harley Davidson and good conversation.
He is survived by his loving wife, Becky; his children, Eddie (Jessica) Harrison and Mary Jo (Josh) Decker; and his cherished grandchildren, Bennett, Emmaleigh, Chandler, Denver, and Lucas.
He is also survived by his sisters, Debra (Sammy) Lovin and Myra (Randy) Deuman; his step-siblings, William McGuffin, Allison Wilson, and Glenda (Greg) Cox; and his half-siblings, Robert (Nicole) Harrison, Heather (Jake) Dreaver, Heidi (Jamie) Bungard, Amanda (Louis) Wu, and Margaret (Robert) VanCleave.
He was preceded in death by his father, Herman Landon Harrison; his mother, Brenda Joyce Sauls; his stepfather, Glenn Sauls; and his stepmother, Roberta Harrison.
His legacy lives on in the quiet faith he carried and in the family he loved. Condolences may be shared at Smith Funeral & Cremation, Maryville, 865-983-1000, www.smithfuneralandcremation.com.
