Douglas "Doug" Frank Smith

Douglas Frank “Doug” Smith, age 70, passed away peacefully on May 8th, 2025, in Pigeon Forge TN surrounded by his loving family. Born on Aug. 3,1954 in Charlotte NC. Doug was the beloved son of the late Frank Robert Smith and Mary Sue Cordell Smith. Preceded in death by his brother Robert “Bobby "Smith. Doug was married to the love of his life, Cynthia M. Smith for 28 years. He was the hero in Levis and Harley Davidson that hid his cape. A father, husband, friend and grandfather that had a heart of gold. Doug loved his work as the owner of DFS Electric and contractor and as an electrical mechanic of 52 yrs until retirement. Doug valued his wife, sons, grandchildren, family and dog above all else. To his family and sons Doug was a man of many tastes and hobbies and had the heart of a child. He loved to fish and camp and ride his motorcycle and cars and always on the go. Doug is survived by his wife Cynthia Smith; Sons, Robert Smith and wife Lindsey Smith, Russell Smith and wife Kimberly Smith, Matthew Morris and significant other Amber Olmstead; Grandchildren, Justin Smith, Hunter Smith, Collin Smith, Logan Hyche, Haven Hyche, Adalynn Morris, Corbin Smith, and Annistyn Smith.
