Dorothy Lou McDaniel

Dorothy L. McDaniel, age 98 of Maryville, passed away Monday, August 15, 2022 at Morningview Transitional Care. Dorothy was a member of First Baptist Church Maryville and was a devoted follower of Christ and Sunday school teacher. Preceded in death by husband, Joseph “Al” McDaniel, Jr.; daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Larry Kutney; grandson, Billy Guthrie. Survived by son and daughter-in-law, Alan and Sadie McDaniel; daughters and sons-in-law, Kay and Rick Brash, Gail and John Guthrie; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in the memory of Janice and Jennifer Kutney to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or www.stjude.org.
