Donald "Joe" Reagan

Donald “Joe” Reagan, age 85 of Maryville, passed away on Friday, January 31st 2025 at the family home. Joe was known for being the best transmission rear-end diesel mechanic around for over 40 years. His biggest joys of life were working in his garage and spending time with his grandkids. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Molsie Reagan; in-laws, Orban and Ruby Bennett; and his brothers and sisters, Ivory Yearout, Lewis Reagan, Cecil Reagan, Ulyess Reagan, Ott Reagan, Andy Reagan, Jerry Reagan, Jackie Reagan, and Ben “H” Reagan, Janie Reagan, Oscar Reagan, Polly Smelcer. Survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Becky Reagan. Daughters Tina (Mike) Hill and Missy Lindsey; son, Kenny (Tracy) Hurst; Grandchildren, Kendra (Will) Murrell, Jackie (Aaron) MacPhetridge, Kenny Hurst, Bobby Shields, Genna (Ryan) Hurst, Joshua (Carolyne) Hill, Stephanie Hurst, and Mckenzie (Brendon) Manship; Great Grandkids, Macy, Molly, and Conway Murrell, Cole and Mason MacPhetridge, Makyla and Mckenna Hurst, Arora, Ryan, Rawley, and Ares Kimmel; Brother and Sisters, Gene (Pat) Reagan, Dorothy Smith, Margaret Noah; Sister in Law, Henrietta (Pete) Daughtrey; Brother-in-law, Carl (Peggy) Bennett, David Bennett; Several nieces and nephews, special niece, Sharon Hood, special nephew, Mike Reagan; Special friends, Howard Fortenberry, Joe Holbert, Chris Sims, Bill Anderson, and Brian Hepperly. The family wishes to express their appreciation to everyone at UT hospice care especially Casey, Shandra, and caregiver Tina. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 PM on Sunday, February 9, 2025 in the Smith Trinity Chapel with a celebration of Joe’s life to follow at 4:00 PM with Reverend Charlie Lambert officiating. The family and friends will assemble at 11:00 AM on Monday, February 10, 2025 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for the interment service and burial.
