David Michael Phillips

David Michael Phillips age 61 of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at Blount Memorial Hospital.  He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.  David loved Nascar and loved to build furniture, types of construction, and muscle cars.  He was a family man and enjoyed fishing.  Preceded in death by:  father, Durword Phillips; brother, Donnie Phillips.  Survivors include:  wife, Vickie Phillips; daughters & sons-in-law, Sarah Jensen & Chris and Hannah Phillips & John Ownby; granddaughters, Adelynn Jensen and Emma Jensen; mother, Janie Phillips; brother, Jerry Phillips & Pam; sisters & brothers-in-law, Debra & Mike Davis and Pam & Will Fields; brother-in-law, Ted Gray; sister-in-law, Linda Phillips; nephews, Wesley Phillips, Matthew Davis, Scott Ogle, Dylan Gray; nieces, Kayla Johnson & Eddie, Melody Phillips, Makayla Singer.  In lieu of flowers, please make donations to:  Second Harvest Food Bank, 136 Harvest Ln, Maryville, TN 37801.  Family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00 PM, Monday, September 12, 2022 at Smith Trinity Chapel.  Funeral service will be at 6:00 PM with Pastor Donnie Baker officiating.  Family and friends will assemble for interment at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at Grandview Cemetery.  Smith Funeral & Cremation Service, Maryville, 865-983-1000, www.SmithFuneralandCremation.com.
