C.W.O. Retired Henry C. OHara, Jr.

C.W.O. Retired Henry C. (Buck) O’Hara, Jr., age 82 of Maryville, passed away Saturday, March 6, 2010 at UT Medical Center. He served 25 years in the military receiving 2 Bronze Star Medals and an Army Commendation. His dream in life was to always be a soldier and serve his country well. He loved golf, animals, and cherished his friends and family. He was preceded in death by his parents Henry O’Hara Sr. and Caroline O’Hara; brother, Richard O’Hara. Survivors include: his wife, Marcie of 57 years; son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Sheila O’Hara of Walland, TN; goddaughter, Ramona Perkins; several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will gather for an entombment service at 1:00pm, Thursday, March 11, 2010 at the mausoleum chapel of Sherwood Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Henry Linginfelter officiating.
