Curtis Conley Carter, age 56, of Maryville, TN passed peacefully into the presence of his Lord on September 25, 2026, at his home in Maryville, Tennessee.

Born in Jackson, Tennessee on December 5, 1969, he spent most of his life in East Tennessee.

Curtis loved his family, sports (especially golf), and helping others. He was known for his compassionate heart, service to others, and unwavering devotion to family and friends.

Curtis is survived by his parents, Conley and Jane Carter, his sister Leigh Ann Fisher (Carter) and her husband Jonathan, and a nephew Marcus Fisher, all of Maryville, TN.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial gathering at Alcoa First Methodist Church, 617 Gilbert Street, Alcoa, on Monday, October 5th from 4:00-5:30 PM.
