Rev. Claude B. Bell

Rev. Claude B. Bell age 87 of Maryville passed away Saturday, January 8, 2011 at his home. He was a minister of Church of God of the Union Assembly for 48 years, member of Kerbela Shrine Temple, Grand Chapter of Royal Arch Masons of GA, Eastern Star of Knoxville, Acacia-May Chapter 24, he enjoyed golfing and hunting. Claude was a veteran of World War II serving in the US Army. Preceded in death by: Parents, Manie & Mamie Bell; Daughter-in-law, Cheryl Bell; Brothers, Clifford, Clinton, Clarence & Joe Bell; Sister, Geraldine Tankersley. Survivors include: Wife of 60 years, Ruth Bell; Sons & Daughters-in-law, Marty F. Bell of Maryville and J. Marvin & Diane Bell of Dalton, GA; Daughters & Sons-in-law, Pamela & Aubrey Crawford of Maryville, Linda Vela of Grand Prairie, TX, and Betty & Don Lancaster of McDonough, GA; 19 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; Brothers, Clyde Bell, Jesse Bell, and Glenn Bell; Sisters, Erma Lee Gourley, Jeanette Mallet, Arlene Rose, and Geneva Bell; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 6:00 PM, Sunday, January 9, 2011 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. David Simmons and Rev. Gene Marie officiating.
