Clarence Samuel Cutshall

Clarence S. Cutshall, 90, passed away peacefully at Shannondale of Maryville on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 after a short illness. He was born on September 6, 1932 in Mosheim, TN and grew up in the Fall Branch community. He graduated from Sullivan High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree from ETSU. After his retirement from Tennessee Eastman in Kingsport he and Jannis moved to Alcoa in 2001 and built their retirement home here. He was a lifelong follower of the Baptist faith. Throughout his life he enjoyed family gatherings, always bringing his humor and laughter; travel, bowling, golf and was a longtime fan of NASCAR racing.    He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Jannis Powers Cutshall; his parents, J.W. and Josephine Hendry Cutshall; three sisters, Louise Hays, Rowena Cole, and Charlotte Forester. He is survived by two daughters, Pam (Ron) Pyron of Rockwood, TN, and Patty Price of Maryville; three grandchildren, Jeremiah (Mary Clare) Pyron, Seth Price and Sara Price; three great-grandchildren, and special friend Pat Reynolds. Family and friends will assemble at 1:00 PM for Graveside Service and Interment Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Grandview Mausoleum with Rev.
