Christine Hines Clark, 100, entered eternity to be with her Lord and Savior on September 4, 2026. Born and raised in Wildwood, Tennessee, she was a devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who deeply loved her family.

Her late husband, Harold E. Clark, was the love of her life. In November 2019, they celebrated 75 years of marriage. She graduated in the top of her class from Porter High School as well as several schools of banking. She worked for many years at the former Bank of Maryville and retired after 26 years at Alcoa Tennessee Federal Credit Union.

Chris was a faithful member and Deacon of First Baptist Church Maryville where she enjoyed her Encouragers Bible Study class, Golden Agers, and Women's Missionary Union.

She and Harold were long-time members of the Wagon Wheelers Square Dance Club where they danced every week for years. They also loved to travel near and far with friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James M. and Bertie Mae Wolfe Hines, 12 brothers and sisters, and husband, Harold.

Survivors include daughter Beverly Clark Coleman, son Michael Clark (Julia Frances), granddaughter Wendy McGuire (Sean), great grandchildren Tyler White and Lilly McGuire, along with several nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank the staff at Shannondale Health Care and former caregiver Helen Hughett for their love and support.

Christine loved God and loved others, greeting all who would allow it with a big hug. She will be remembered for her big smile, strength, perseverance, sense of humor, and her strong faith.

The family will receive friends Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 11:00am until 12:00pm at First Baptist Church Maryville with a Celebration of Life service to follow. Pastors Bill Booth and Gary Stinnett will be officiating.
