Charlotte Dean Nease, age 88, went to be with the Lord Sunday, December 7, 2025. She was a member of Peck's Memorial United Methodist Church. Charlotte graduated from Saint Mary's Hospital School of Nursing in 1957 as a Registered Nurse. After practicing for several years, Charlotte left the profession to start a family, which was her greatest joy in life. Having been a skilled basketball player at Parrotsville High School, Charlotte ("Number Nineteen") loved watching all types of athletic contests, especially when they involved her precious grandchildren. Preceded in death by beloved husband, Lacye Phillip Nease; parents, Samuel Chandler and Winifred Aileen Jones; and infant twin sister Charline. Survived by son and partner, Rob Nease and Susan Davis, and daughters and sons-in-law Phyllis and David Dukes and Sheila and Mike McNeil, all of Maryville; grandchildren, Michelle and Chris Large of Oak Ridge, Matthew and Amanda Niethammer of Knoxville, Meredith and Josh Buckner of Knoxville, Megan and Ryan King of Knoxville, Jenna and Travis Patch of Mobile, Alabama, Michael McClelland of Maryville, Jason McNeil of Knoxville, Scott McNeil of Knoxville, Fletcher and Maddy Dukes of Vonore, Andy Dukes of Vonore; great-grandchildren, Audrey, Silas, and Eloise Large, Judah and Mary Chandler Buckner, Nora and Noah Niethammer, Charlotte King, Isaac and Jordan Patch, Atticus Dukes. Charlotte's family would like to recognize the many caregivers at Fairpark Health Center and Gentiva Hospice who loved and cared for Charlotte during her final days. Box 31002, Knoxville, 37930). Friends may come by and sign the register and pay their respects from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 14, 2025.
