Charles Edward Thompson, age 84 of Maryville, passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2022. He was of the Baptist Faith. Charles retired from Camp Montvale. Preceded in death by his parents, John and Martha Thompson; 6 sisters. Survived by a loving family: wife, Brenda; 4 sons and their wives, Mike and Margaret, Tim and Anita, Ray and Teressa, Tracy and Jama; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; a loving family of in-laws as well as several nieces and nephews, cousins, and a large extended family. The family requests no flowers or plants. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in his memory to your favorite charity. The family asks that everyone planning to attend the service must wear a mask.
