Cathy Alene Kruse, age 77 of Maryville, TN passed away on September 26, 2026 at her son’s home after a battle with cancer combined with dementia. Cathy was a kind and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, sister, cousin, and friend. She wanted to help whomever and whenever she could. Cathy spent her professional life as a seamstress at Levi Strauss Co. Cathy was preceded in death by her parents, Casewell Clay Watson and Margaret Elvira Watson; stepfather, Carl Kenner; sister, Margie Sue Reagan; brothers, Elijah Watson and Glenn Clay Watson. Survivors include her sons, David Phillip Brewer, Terry Turner (Jennifer), Allan Turner (Tammy); grandchildren, Eason Brewer, Katie Hendrix (Dillion), Devin Turner, Kevan Turner (Krista), Morgan Turner (Kalie); great grandchildren, Grayson Hendrix and Claire Turner; brothers, John Watson, James Watson, William Watson (Dawn); several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends; special caregiver, Lavonda Lee. The family is deeply grateful to everyone who accompanied Cathy on this journey. Thank you to each and every one of you for the calls, texts, visits, and food. But most of all, thank you for the prayers that provided tremendous comfort to Cathy and her family throughout her final journey on this earth.
