Carolyn Sue (Buckner) Smith, age 66, of Maryville, passed away Friday, August 14, 2026. She graduated from South Young High School and was employed at Denso as a Production Associate. Carolyn was an amazing woman. She inspired everyone she met and treated them with kindness and honesty. Survivors include: husband, Jon Smith; son, Matthew Gilbert (Adrianna); grandchildren, Elizabeth Gilbert, Kalob Gilbert, Ariel Wiser, Lillian Lowe, and Aurora Lowe; siblings, Louise Watkins, Johnny Buckner, and Mark Buckner; special friends, Kimberly Sumner and Terry Miller. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM, Thursday, August 20, 2026 at Smith Trinity Chapel. Family and friends will assemble for graveside service and interment at 9:00 AM, Friday, August 21, 2026 at Eusebia Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
