Carolyn Crisp

Carolyn Crisp, 84, of Friendsville, passed away January 26, 2023 at Blount Memorial Hospital. Carolyn was an active member of Middlesettlements United Methodist Church. She was a kind, sweet person who was loved by everyone that knew her. She was preceded in death by husband, William “Bill” Crisp, parents Vernon and Helen Johnson, sisters Maxine Cowan, Dorothy Sing, Jama Hamil, brother Ray Johnson. Survivors include daughter Staci Crisp Lawhorn (Jason Martin); grandchildren Ty Hamilton Lawhorn and Andi Love Lawhorn; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Wayne and Brenda Crisp; nieces Terri Hamil, Lynda Long, Vickie Gray, and Kellie Mak, many great nieces and nephews, and special friends Becca Daniels and Jessie Brouwer. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Mark Green, Jack Weeks, and the staff of Blount Memorial Hospital 4 south as well as to all our friends for the visits and prayers. Carolyn’s request was to be cremated. The family will have a visitation on Thursday, February 2, 2023, from 5:00pm – 7:00pm with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 7:00pm officiated by Magan Stubblefield. The family will then assemble for a Graveside service and Inurnment Friday, February 3, 2023 at 11:00am at Middlesettlements Cemetery.
