Carol Leiann McCroskey age 39 of Maryville passed away Sunday, January 18, 2009. She currently worked for Roadway Express. Preceded in death by: Father, Carl L. Byrd; Grandparents, Henry & Betty Reed, Vern Best; Father-in-law, Jim McCroskey; Father, Stephen Reed. Survivors include: Husband, Devon McCroskey; Sons, Adam Bain and Schuyler Moss; Stepson, Tyler McCroskey; Daughter, Meghan Schuessler; Mother-in-law, Sandra & Jim McCroskey; Mother, Katrina G. Byrd; Step Mother, Avice Reed; Grandmothers, Mildred Best & Edna Carden; Sisters & Brothers-in-law, Sheryl & Mike Millsaps and Rosalinde & Kevin McGhee; Sisters-in-law, Jama Phillips and Kimberly McCroskey; Half sisters, Lynette Reed and Eve Reed; Nieces, Kelcey Latham and Kiara McClure; several aunts and uncles. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Monday, January 26, 2009 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Joe White & Rev. Bill Grindstaff officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens for the interment.
