Carl Reece Branton age 68 of Maryville passed away Tuesday, September 02, 2014 at the family home. He was a member of Harmony Chapel Freewill Baptist Church and loved to fish. Preceded in death by: Parents, George & Rowena Branton; Grandparents, Alexander & Ollie Drinnen and Tildon & Pawnee Branton. Survivors include: Wife of 47 years, Wilma Branton; Daughter & Son-in-law, Wenona & Randy Atkins; Grandchildren, Julia & Erin Atkins; Sister, Marjorie Bowers; Brothers, Delmer Branton, Claude Branton, and Larry Branton; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Thursday, September 4, 2014 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Ray Caldwell officiating. Interment will be at 11:00 AM, Friday, September 5, 2014 at Grandview Cemetery.
