Brenda Gail Whitaker

Brenda Gail (Jones) Whitaker age 61 of Maryville passed away Saturday, October 16, 2010 at Alive Hospice Residence. She was a member of Sunnyview Baptist Church. She enjoyed her grandchildren, gospel music, family picnics, singing in the church choir, and bowling. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pete and Betty Jo Jones. Survivors include her husband Dale Whitaker; son and daughter-in-law, Ray and Kristi Miracle; sons, Bobby Miracle and Matthew Miracle all of Knoxville; step son, Landon Whitaker and wife, Kathi of Maryville; grandchildren, Cortney Jones, Spencer Miracle, Zack and Cody Miracle, and Sager Whitaker; great granddaughter, Kadence Jones; brothers, Johnny Jones and Jack Jones; sister, Linda Monroe and husband Bill; sister-in-law Sherry and husband Rick Myers; brother-in-law, James C. Whitaker and wife Karen; life-long friends, Linda and Ronney Maiden; several nieces, nephews, uncles, and aunts. Funeral service will be at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, October 19, 2010 in the Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Eddie Mash officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at Grandview Cemetery for the interment.
