Brenda Diane Leigh (Tipton) age 75, passed away Saturday morning at LifeCare of Blount County, in the presence of family. Brenda retired from Walmart after more than 40 years of dedicated service, and attended Turner Street Baptist Church. She was a loving woman, who took great care of those she adored. She enjoyed attending family events, reading, solving crossword puzzles, trying new recipes, and assisting in the nursery at church when she was able. Brenda loved telling stories and jokes. She will be remembered for her quick wit, intelligence, humor, and mischievous grins. Brenda is proceeded in death by her father and mother Wiley and Pauline Tipton, father in law George (Omega) Leigh, mother in law Emma Leigh, brother L.C Tipton, brother and sister in law, Dale and Lena Tipton, brother in law Wayne Leigh, niece Angela Tipton, and nephews Tim Tipton and Randy Tipton. She leaves behind her husband of 47 years, Ronnie Leigh. Her brother Bob (Bobbie) Tipton, sister in law Jackie Kitts, brother in law Paul (Ruby) Leigh, brother in law Joe Leigh, niece Debbie(Doug) Simpson, nephew Rick (Teresa) Tipton, great niece Chelsey Brown, and nephews Chase Stevens and Corey Tipton, among many other extended family members. Family will receive friends from 3:00 until 5:00 PM, Friday, January 23, 2026 at Smith Trinity Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 5:00 PM with Rev. Tim Townsend officiating. Family and friends will assemble for interment at 3:00 PM, Tuesday, January 27, 2026 at Piney Level Baptist Church Cemetery.
