Betty Ann
De la Rosa
May 4, 1940 — Sep 30, 2026
Betty Ann Pack, 86, passed away on September 30th, 2026. Born on May 4th, 1940, Betty’s Life was filled with creativity, resilience, and a deep love for her family.
Betty found beauty in the things she loved: a garden in bloom, the flutter of a hummingbird, and the delicate wings of a dragonfly. Her favorite color, emerald green, reflected the richness of the growing things she so enjoyed. Through gardening, crafts, and sewing, she brought her creativity to life, finding joy in what she could nurture and make with her own hands.
At the heart of Betty’s life were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her love for them was woven into the fabric of their lives, leaving memories they will carry through the years.
Betty was a fighter, with a spirited nature and plenty of sass. She never had trouble speaking her mind, and her strength and unmistakable personality were as much a part of her as her creative heart. She leaves her family with a legacy of love, resilience, and the courage to be themselves.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Mae Horton; her brothers, Kenneth and Jerry Pack; and her daughter, Jean Ann Basel.
Betty is survived by her sons, Robert Harty and family, Marcus Harty and family; her daughter Tina Kubacki; and her daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Stephen Radcliff.
She also leaves behind her late daughter Jean Ann’s children, Janos Holmes and family, Matthew Bell and family, and Crystal Bell and family; Tina’s family, Lewis and Teegan Buckner, and Shelbie and Timothy Perry and family; and Paula’s children and their families, Jonathan and Amelia Broyles and family, Joseph Broyles and family, Jason Jenkins, and Jakob Huskin.
As her family remembers her, a flash of emerald green, a hummingbird visiting a flower, or a dragonfly lingering nearby will offer a gentle reminder of Betty and the beauty she loved. Her voice, spirit, and her love will remain a cherished part of their lives.
The family will receive friends 11:00am - 12:00pm, Saturday, October 3rd, 2026, in the Trinity Chapel at Smith Funeral and Cremation with a Celebration of Life starting at 12:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested honoring Betty with a donation to the Tennessee Alzheimer's Association , https://www.alz.org/tn.
Condolences may be shared at Smith Funeral and Cremation Service, 865-983-1000, or www.smithfuneralandcremation.com.
