Betty Ethel Bell

Bell, Betty Ethel (Currie) age 88, of Maryville, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2006 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Alcoa. She retired from Sky Chief's, Inc. She was preceded in death by: husband, Gordon William Bell; son, Lloyd W. Bell; father and mother, Lafayette Henry Currie and Anna Smith Currie; brothers, Charles D. Currie and Darian Currie; sisters, Hallie (Chic) Hewin, Christinie Bales, Canna Currie, and Beulah Goodlin. Survivors include: son and daughter-in-law, Michael G. and Katherine L. Bell of Maryville; daughter, Donna L. Smith of Maryville; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren. The family and friends will assemble at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, August 24, 2006 at Grandview Cemetery for the interment service with the Rev. Danny Davis officiating.
