Barbara R. Layman, age 89 of Maryville, passed away Sunday, November 23, 2014 at Blount Memorial Hospital. Preceded in death by: Husband, Ray Layman and Grandson, Will Layman. Survivors include: Son & Daughter-in-Law, Charles & Mary Layman; Daughter and Son-in-Law, Deborah & Kevin Pearson. She is also survived by three Grandchildren and three Great Grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 25, 2014 at Beech Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Kenny Armstrong officiating.
