Lane, August Feezell age 87 of Maryville passed away Sunday, October 22, 2006 at Colonial Hills Nursing Center. Preceded in death by: Parents, Wesley & Catherine Myers Feezell; Husband, Howard W. Lane; Son, Lavoy Lane; Daughter-in-law, Kei Lane; Infant Granddaughter, Janis Lane. Survivors include: Son, Wade L. Lane of Maryville; Grandchildren, H. Scott Lane & wife Melissa of Raleigh, NC, Traci Lane Majoras of Knoxville, Travis Lane of Maryville, and Jason Lane & wife Jennifer of Sweetwater; Seven Great-Grandchildren; Half Sisters, Joy Stoutt, Laura Richards, Shirley Hutton; several nieces and nephews; Special Nieces, Sandra Russell, Norma Jean Tosh, and Faye Porter; Special Caregivers, Victoria Keck and Margaret Kelly. Funeral service will be at 7:30 PM Tuesday, October 24, 2006 in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev. J.W. Hopper officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, October 25, 2006 at Cades Cove Baptist Church Cemetery (Memorial Baptist Church) for the interment.
