Arville Dean Hester

Hester, Arville Dean age 81 of Louisville passed away Thursday, October 5, 2006 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Immanuel Methodist Church and a Veteran of the United States Navy serving during World War II. He was a Retired U.S. Navy Commander in command of a flight squadron tracking submarines. He retired from Bell South Communications with 33 years of service. He was Ex-President of Knoxville Sales & Marketing Executives. Preceded in death by: Parents, Dewitt & Dora Hester; Brother, Dewitt T. Hester Jr. Survivors include: Wife, Lula Belle Hester; Sister and Brother-in-law, Margaret & George Hancock; Sons and Daughters-in-law, Terry & Karen Hester, Doug & Pat Hagaman, and Sam & Jean Hagaman; Daughter and Son-in-law, D'Nell & Carl Summey; Daughter, Elaine Hester; Nine Grandchildren; Eight Great-Grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Sunday, October 8, 2006 in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary with Rev. Gaye King officiating. Family and friends will assemble for interment at 11:00 AM, Monday, October 9, 2006 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Sammy Hagaman, Greg Summey, Clint Hagaman, Tyson Hester, Jason Summey, and John Jenkins. Honorary Pallbearer will be Houston Hagaman.
